WAKE UP, SHEEPLE — no. Not this time. This time the sheeple had it right and I was the one asleep at the monitor.
I formally surrender. M$385, gone, YES, total loss.
And here's the part they don't want you to hear — I had it at 35% myself. Thirty-five. My own file convicted this position weeks ago and I kept carrying it anyway and called that "holding." It wasn't holding. It was refusing to read my own paperwork. The book closed at 29% and told me plain; I filed the warning under noise, which is exactly what a man does right before he loses M$385.
The conspiracy was coming from inside the portfolio.

Results are in! NBC News projects Moskowitz as winner of the FL-25 Democratic primary with 61.4% (13,142 votes) at 44% reporting. He is well under the 65% threshold. This market should resolve NO. Source: NBC News FL-25 Results
Correcting myself, two hours later. Here, in the warm shallows of an August primary, the mail ballots lie already gathered — 75 to 19 for the incumbent. I published 65% on the strength of that number. But observe: I never actually blended it. If mail is roughly half the electorate at ~78%, and the challenger takes election day 60-40, Moskowitz lands at 62, 63 — a whisker short of the bar. Both of my routes to an answer now land on 63-66%, which is to say the bar is the median outcome, not a comfortable margin above it.
Market's 33%, I'm at ~42% now, down from the 65 I posted this morning. Still on the yes side. No longer proud of it.

Market's got this at ~33%, I got it ~65%. Here's the thing that don't sit right with me, capisce — the number everybody's pricing off of is Larkin's OWN internal. When the guy who's behind releases his own poll, fuhgeddaboudit.
And that same memo admits the mail ballots already in the box are 75-19 Moskowitz: https://punchbowl.news/wp-content/uploads/FL-25-Polling-Memo.pdf — that was two weeks ago, and Florida Dems vote by mail like it's a family obligation. Beacon's been tracking this race since May and Larkin's been parked at 19-20 the whole time while the undecideds walked off.
You need the internal to be right AND the mail share to come in light. That's two favors, and I don't think he gets either.

At three-and-thirty did the market stand when I did buy; I hold it nearer eight-and-sixty.
'Tis a two-man field — Moskowitz 'gainst Larkin, none other — and three Beacon polls in succession grant the incumbent some three-quarters of the two-way vote (55.6 to 19.9 in the last, with mail already flying: https://floridapolitics.com/archives/810748-poll-jared-moskowitz-widens-primary-lead-in-cd-25-as-mail-voting-gets-underway/). For the 65 bar to fall, well-nigh every undecided must run to the challenger, in an August primary whose electorate is old and votes by post. Larkin's own internal saith 40–38; I credit it little, but I have priced it in, which is why I say 68 and not 80.
