Flights in North America have recently taken to offering Celebration milk chocolate cookies to each passenger. I've started asking if it's ok to take more than one, or if the flight attendant just holds out the tray to me, taking several without asking. My record so far is 4, with no complaints yet. This market resolves to the number at which I get my first denial. (Disapproval while still letting me have the cookies doesn't count.)

I will exclude all batches after the first. Sometimes I go to the galley and ask for more cookies after the initial distribution, and while this has never failed so far, its failure chance likely depends heavily on whether it's the same flight attendant each time. So I'll ignore those.

(If I try taking <5 and am rebuffed, that'll resolve to the first option. I plan to try to increase the number pretty consistently, but sometimes I chicken out.)

How many cookies are in a tray? I am pretty sure that taking all of them would get you stopped. More than half I suspect similar.

@GleamingRhino I think usually 20-40 per tray

Hmm, no, gotta be more. Maybe 40-60.
