The US -EU is a legal framework under which personal data can be transferred from the EU (and the EEA) to the US. The previous frameworks, Safe Harbor and Privacy Shield were struck down by the Court of Justice of the European Union in the Schrems cases.
This market will resolve no, if a) European Commission has revoked its adequacy decision which is the legal basis for the data transfers under the Data Privacy Framework, b) the adequacy decision is struck down by the Court of Justice of the European Union or c) if the US administration terminates the Data Privacy Framework or d) if the Data Privacy Framework is not in force due to other reasons (such as change in European data protection law). This market will resolve yes, if the EU-US Data Privacy Framework is in force. Data transfers from the UK or Switzerland to the US do not affect this market.
