Background: On Sep 29, 2026 Trump signed the executive order "Inaugurating the Era of
Super Intelligence", directing federal agencies to say "Super Intelligence"/"SI" instead
of "AI". On Oct 4, 2026, asked on X whether SpaceXAI could be renamed SpaceXSI, Elon Musk
replied "Yes, we will make that change." He gave no date. At market creation the official account is still @SpaceXAI.
Resolves YES if, before Dec 31, 2026 11:59 PM ET, EITHER of these happens:
1. X account: the official X account of SpaceX's AI unit (currently @SpaceXAI) changes
its handle OR its display name to an SI name.
2. Website: the unit's official website (currently x.ai, or wherever it redirects) shows
an SI name as the company name in its header logo or browser page title.
"SI name" = the unit's name with "AI" replaced by "SI", "Super Intelligence" or
"Superintelligence". Spacing, capitalization and punctuation don't matter.
Counts: SpaceXSI, SpaceX SI, SpaceX Super Intelligence, SpaceX Superintelligence.
Does NOT count:
- Statements of intent, including Musk's Oct 4 reply or any later "we will..." post
- Musk's personal account, employees' accounts, or third parties using the name
- News headlines saying it was "renamed" unless 1 or 2 has actually happened
(some outlets already wrote "renames" about the Oct 4 announcement)
- Renaming only a product (e.g. Grok) rather than the unit itself
- A rename to anything without SI/Super Intelligence (e.g. plain "SpaceX") -> NO
A change that is later reverted still counts, as long as it is documented by a
Wayback Machine/archive.today snapshot or a news report saying the account or site
changed.
Resolves NO if neither 1 nor 2 has happened by the deadline.
