The title of "Son of the House" is given the youngest male presenting MP in the House of Commons and is currently held by Keir Mather MP (Lab, Selby and Ainsty) with the title of "Daughter of the House" given to the youngest female presenting MP in the House of Commons, currently Nadia Whittome MP (Lab, Norttingham East)
I am happy to accept this report of the new Labour member for Cambridgeshire North West aged 22 as the new Son of the House https://www.instagram.com/reel/C9DbnLuIjJx/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
This refers to the youngest MP in the House of Commons, whether they are male or female presenting. If they are male presenting they will be called the "Son of the House", if they are female presenting "the Daughter of the House". Essentially the question is "Which party will have the youngest MP in the House, overall, in their grouping?"
