This question is inspired by the following excerpt from "I, Asimov: A Memoir" by Isaac Asimov, and all of the examples listed are excluded as answers.

The Bible says that those who have experienced persecution should not in their turn persecute: “Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt” (Exodus 22:21).
