Stable diffusion is just a few months old. I think the difficulty of adding a time dimension to image generation is at least a 10x challenge on top of what we have now. Having that in <12 months would be really surprising.

I will NOT be surprised if we get something that generates deep dream-tier gifs on top of high quality stable diffusion images. But nothing DreamStudio quality for gifs.
