Resolves YES if I've created a stock market trading bot by March 1, that trades on Manifold markets relating to the stock market or crypto. Resolves N/A if Manifold policies have substantially reduced the number of markets, such that there's almost no value in creating this (less than M$50 of profit per day). Resolves NO if I have not created the bot by March 1.
The bot is not yet clearly defined, but to resolve YES, it should be able to make at least ten trades per day, and it should be running automatically, though I might still be running it on my personal computer.
For context, I work professionally in software engineering, and have worked with the Manifold API before, but I have not created a Manifold bot before and I have not worked with stock market or crypto APIs.
I will only bet YES in this market.

If you are interested in collaborating with me on your bot in some way, let me know. See here:

I already have spent a year on bots and it might be more profitable to pool our knowledge and we both may use the same codebases. Alternatively, we are short on people to do the infrastructure/deployment/monitoring work, as we have pretty good strategies.
@SteveSokolowski Thanks for offering! For now, I think I'll do it on my own, since I'm more interested in doing basic trading based on stock movements rather than complex AI strategies, but maybe we could share some base library code around stock trades or loading the Manifold markets?
@Gabrielle Are you trying to trade on Manifold? Right now I solely focus on stocks. I used to do crypto but don't trust any crypto exchange and sold all the btc I had left.
@SteveSokolowski Ah, my bad for the confusion, I'm talking about the Manifold markets that are derivatives of the actual stock market, stuff like https://manifold.markets/SirCryptomind/will-apple-nyse-aapl-close-at-under.
Best of luck with the project that you're working on!
@dreev Yep, figured this was a more appropriate place for it than Taskratchet. I do think 75% is currently about accurate, but that might drop over time.
