This market will resolve as Yes if federal legislation is enacted on or before December 31, 2025, which repeals or amends the Consumer Financial Protection Act of 2010 with the effect of providing for the elimination or abolition of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau CFPB), with any effective date.
Such elimination or abolition need not occur by expiration for this market to resolve as Yes.
Leiglsation defunding or otherwise disempowering the CFPB, but not providing for its elimination or abolition, will have be insufficient to cause the market to resolve as Yes.
