However, based on past releases, it's likely they'll keep the old one around somewhere and keep both accessible. That will make it obvious that the new one is different. If midjourney is claiming it's a big improvement, that will be sufficient for that part - we're not relying on the community judgment, merely whether the midjourney software has this new version. The new version can be available anywhere, either discord or a new platform or location.
