The World Economic Outlook report by the IMF staff, published twice a year, presents IMF staff economists' analyses of global economic developments during the near and medium term. The latest report, published in October 2023, is titled Navigating Global Divergences and reports signs that policy tightening is starting to cool activity despite core inflation proving persistent. Risks are more balanced as banking sector stress has receded, but they remain tilted to the downside. The citations below indicate slow growth but not below 3%.
