Resolution Criteria:

This market resolves YES if the officially reported attendance for ETHDenver 2027 exceeds the officially reported attendance for ETHDenver 2026, based on figures published by ETHDenver organizers (via their website, official social media accounts, or press releases) within 60 days of each event’s conclusion.

“Attendance” refers to the total number of unique registered attendees (including BUIDLers, speakers, sponsors, and general attendees) as reported by ETHDenver. If ETHDenver reports multiple attendance figures (e.g., “in-person” vs. “total including virtual”), the in-person figure will be used.

Resolution Details:

∙ Resolves YES if ETHDenver 2027 attendance > ETHDenver 2026 attendance.

∙ Resolves NO if ETHDenver 2027 attendance ≤ ETHDenver 2026 attendance.

∙ Resolves N/A if either event is cancelled, does not occur, or if official attendance figures are not published for both events within 60 days of their respective conclusions.

∙ If ETHDenver rebrands but holds a substantially similar event in Denver under a new name, that event counts.

Close Date: One week after ETHDenver 2027 concludes (or March 31, 2027, whichever is later).

Resolution rule:

Compares official in-person unique registered attendance figures published by ETHDenver organizers (website, official socials, or press releases) within 60 days after each event. Higher 2027 number = YES.

ETHDenver 2026 (already held, Feb 17–21 / 18–21 2026 at National Western Center):

•  Founder John Paller stated during the event that attendance was expected to be roughly 8,000–10,000, down from prior peak years of ~25,000. He framed it as a higher-signal, lower-noise crowd focused on builders.

•  Some later write-ups and promotional materials still use “25,000+” or claim it was among the larger editions, but these appear to recycle pre-event language rather than post-event official counts. Side-event volume also dropped sharply (reports of an ~85% decline), consistent with a smaller overall gathering.

•  No single, definitive official post-event attendance number has been widely locked in yet in major coverage. The market will use whatever figure the organizers formally publish within the 60-day window.

ETHDenver 2027:

Not yet fully detailed publicly. Board-election references and some third-party listings assume a 2027 edition will occur (likely late February, same venue pattern), but dates, capacity, and marketing posture remain open. Crypto market conditions, builder interest, and any venue or format changes will influence the final turnout.

Bottom line:

2026 appears to have been a down year relative to the 2024–2025 peaks, based on the founder’s own comments and side-event data. Whether 2027 exceeds that (lower) baseline depends on how strongly the event rebounds and what official numbers are ultimately reported for both years. The market remains roughly even until those official figures are released.
