After a successful Manifold Q&A session + shirt auction at Proof, @Austin and Kathy (our director of programs) have both expressed openness to a potential Manifold field trip, most likely next school year!
An optional weekend activity (like the Parent Association-organized ice skating or picnic) would also count for this market, as long as it's promoted by Proof as an official event.
I'll resolve at the end of Block 2 unless I hear of winter break plans.
General policy for my markets: In the rare event of a conflict between my resolution criteria and the agreed-upon common-sense spirit of the market, I may resolve it according to the market's spirit or N/A, probably after discussion.

The trip is tomorrow, IIUC. https://manifoldmarkets.notion.site/Standup-0e5e886528ac47ea89cdd7e65d1f015e#10927b957ea84f6c96fccb87dcf36638
@oh Ah, sorry for not communicating. One of the plans for the Manifield trip (of /Conflux/will-my-idea-for-the-manifield-trip notoriety) was telling all the Proofniks that they were seeing a Manifold Strategy Meeting, but then the content would grow increasingly more absurd and we would see when they figured it out. (This didn’t end up happening, which surprised me live - I kept expecting the meeting to have false things, but it only had true things.) Anyway, your notion link mentioned the hoax stuff, so I wanted to mitigate the risk that Proofniks would click. (The Manifold people deleted it from the Notion after I hid it, but I forgot to unhide it.)
@Conflux Aw, sorry for whatever role my comment played! I love that kind of silliness and hope you’ll find other outlets for it soon.
@oh No, your comment ended up being fine! I think the Manifold people didn’t do it because of a lack of good hoax ideas (partially my fault). The Proofniks also ended up enjoying the real meeting
