It was announced that Khans of Tarkir will be fully added to MTG Arena in 2023. But if Spreading Seas is too much for Historic, what will they do about the notoriously powerful ally-color fetch lands? (Flooded Strand, Polluted Delta, Bloodstained Mire, Wooded Foothills, and Windswept Heath.)
Resolves YES if these cards are Historic-legal at any point in 2023. Resolves NO if they're pre-banned, not added with the rest of Khans, or if Khans is delayed to next year. If for some reason only some of the ally fetchlands are added, I'll resolve to the percentage at the end of the year.
General policy for my markets: In the rare event of a conflict between my resolution criteria and the agreed-upon common-sense spirit of the market, I may resolve it according to the market's spirit or N/A, probably after discussion.
Announced NO. Honestly It's pretty insane that this market was this high. Did y'all really think Wizards is going to allow that?
@Shump yeah, if they didn't announce a new format I felt that they kind of had to, people were really clamoring to be able to play with fetches and wizards was talking about how they were figuring out what to do themselves. But the new format makes a lot of sense as a solution
@Shump Well, announced NO in conjunction with a new format, Timeless, where the fetches will be legal. This suggests Wizards wanted to give people a place to play with the fetches
@gaming oh I just meant because the fetch lands are arguably better than Spreading Seas, so if they’re gonna ban Spreading Seas…
