Intuitive Machines, Inc plans to launch a lander to the lunar south pole soon, potentially in 2025 January.

This question will resolve when IM-2's rocket leaves the ground (even if it fails after that).

Question notes:

  • I might add finer grained answers later.

  • If the mission plan is modified, renamed, or canceled, i will either change the subject of this question to whichever Intuitive Machines lunar lander mission is 'basically the same' as the original IM-2 (my judgment) or resolve every deadline here to No as they pass.

  • I will ignore modifications to payloads other than the Nova-C lander (such as AstroForge Odin).

  • I may bet on this.

  • Just to reiterate, this question is only about launch, not about whether the robot falls over on the lunar surface.

This mission has a lot of potential to advance useful space techs! The Nova-C lander & Lunar Trailblazer orbiter are studying lunar water (long term goal: making fuel in space), & the Odin spacecraft will closely study a asteroid (long term goal: ecologically friendly mining).
