The Regional Connector is a new light-rail tunnel being built in downtown Los Angeles (California, USA), which will add three new stations and connect rail service from different locations in the area that currently require transfers. While originally planned to open in 2020, this project is currently expected to open for regular service in 2023.
This market resolves to YES if, at any point in 2023 (using local time), it is possible for the general public to ride on a single train between Pico station and either Union Station (on the currently planned A Line extension) or Pico/Aliso station (on the currently planned E Line extension) in Los Angeles. Only one such ride is necessary for a YES resolution, and a passenger does not need to board or alight at those specific stations. (For example, if one of the stations is closed, the ride may begin or end elsewhere so long as it passes through the same tracks.) Otherwise, this market resolves to NO.
I may trade in this market as usual.
