This market ranks the highly anticipated horror movies by a composite score made up of three components:

1. Letterboxd rating (average user rating as of December 1, 2026)

2. Metacritic score (critic score as of December 1, 2026)

3. Domestic box office gross (total U.S. earnings as of December 1, 2026)

Each film will be ranked 1 through total # in each of the three categories. The #1 film in each category gets total number of films points, #2 gets total-1 points, and so on. The film with the highest total score across all categories will be selected as the winner. In case of a tie, Letterboxd rating will serve as the tiebreaker, followed by Metacritic, then box office.

Any film added must be considered horror on Letterboxd and released after 2/21/26 or it will be eliminated.

All data will be publicly available on Letterboxd, Metacritic, and Box Office Mojo.
