Resolving this as no: he has entered into negotiations to take the company private, but I am not of the opinion that he has actually done so. Admittedly, if it were most investors and most situations, "has signed a contract to take the company private, is working through the process in Delaware" would be adequate. But Elon Musk...is not most.
