@traders This market was supposed to be like their poll What names are going to come up on Epstein‘s guest list that will lead to indictment ?‌

I’m going to update the title/description to kill the old info. If you want this N/A’d instead, we can do that. Then @CaptainHowdy can duplicate again, the fixed version, and restart.

I gave poor instructions to shortcut creation by duplicating the old one and reducing the names, but I didn’t specify the title etc would need changing. I’ll update it, close it, and wait for trader response or Mike to decide to N/A on their own / accept my changes

@Gen I have “fixed” it - @CaptainHowdy check if you’re happy with the new title & description, then the best move is to probably resolve this market N/A to undo all costs/trades (I can do it for you, if you like) and then duplicate it again now that it is fixed

I notice this is a new market but this list (not clients, but associates and people mentioned in sealed court documents, from a ruling in December 2023) was made public in January in a series of PDFs so this should N/A

(also fyi - if you cancel/NA you'll get your mana back!)

@shankypanky What does “cancel” mean here? Sorry, kinda a noob. Eg, should I sell the contract I have on YES, bill gates at a loss and I’ll automatically be credited back whatever I put in?

@AnandShah that's a valid question! when a market is resolved NA it's reversed as if the trades never happened. everyone gets their mana back automatically, so no need to worry about a loss. would be good to NA this sooner than later though since there are already multiple traders with their mana tied up here, so hopefully @CaptainHowdy sees this soon.

@shankypanky Ahhh it was supposed to be who will be indicted from the client list. I thought they could duplicate the old market and change the title, but I may not have been clear on how to do that 🥲

@Gen hmm - probably best to only have options of people who were on the list, though? why is Tiffany Gomas here? lol

also, the description/criteria shouldn't be duplicated from the old one - maybe they should take the old market, duplicate, remove anyone who resolved "no", and then create it? notably, there were people who resolved yes in the earlier markets because they were mentioned, but since it's all court transcriptions it's sometimes people where the witness was asked "what about xyz" and the reply was "no, never" for example. so, not everyone who may have qualified for showing up in the documents would even be in a position to be indicted.
