Resolution criteria
A candidate who receives more than 50% of the total valid votes in the first round is elected. This market resolves YES if any candidate achieves this threshold on October 4, 2026. If no candidate for president receives a majority of the valid votes in the first round, a runoff election is held on 25 October, and the market resolves NO. Resolution will be based on official results from the Brazilian Superior Electoral Court (TSE).
