Resolution criteria

The market resolves YES if Don Lemon is formally charged with a federal crime under the Ku Klux Klan Act by end of day January 31, 2026. Resolution will be verified through official DOJ filings, court records, or credible news reports confirming the charge. The market resolves NO if no such charge is filed by the deadline.

Background

On January 19, 2026, Don Lemon covered an anti-ICE protest at Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, where demonstrators disrupted a church service, accusing a pastor of collaborating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon stated that Don Lemon is on her target list to face federal charges for his involvement in the protest. Dhillon alleged that Lemon was not a neutral observer but "an embedded part of a criminal conspiracy" hiding under the shield that he was conducting journalism.
