The agreement was signed by the UK and Mauritius on 22 May 2025; the dispute will end once the deal is ratified by both parties. This market resolves YES if the agreement remains legally in force on 31 December 2026. It resolves NO if the agreement has been terminated, withdrawn, suspended, or formally abandoned by either party before that date, or if ratification has been definitively rejected by either government.
Resolution will be determined by official statements from the UK Foreign Office or Mauritian government, parliamentary records, or international treaty databases such as the UN Treaty Collection (https://treaties.un.org/).
