Resolution criteria
The market resolves YES if the UK Government lowers the 2026 ZEV mandate target below 33% for cars or delays compliance with the 33% target beyond 2026 before 31 December 2026. This includes any official government announcement, legislative change, or regulatory amendment that reduces the headline target or extends the deadline for meeting it.
Resolution will be determined by official UK government sources, including Department for Transport (DfT) announcements, statutory instruments, or parliamentary legislation. The market resolves NO if the 33% target remains in effect and the government does not formally weaken or delay it by the deadline.
