Resolution criteria

The market resolves YES if he wins the Emperor's Cup (yusho) at any Grand Sumo tournament in 2026. The market resolves NO if he does not win a championship by the end of 2026. Six tournaments take place every year: January (Tokyo), March (Osaka), May (Tokyo), July (Nagoya), September (Tokyo), and November (Fukuoka). Results can be verified at the official Japan Sumo Association website.
