@Bayesian I believe this should resolve Yes. The AISI has been gutted/ceased to exist; it has been replaced by the Center for AI Standards and Innovation. The leadership (at least) of the AISI has been removed, and the (former) AISI director now works at Anthropic.

It is common for the heads of federal bodies to change when there is a new administration.
Being renamed from AISI to CAISI doesn’t seem like a sufficient condition to say that it has been gutted.
