The FT has reported that the EU has issued a stern warning to Elon Musk that Twitter could be banned on the continent if it doesn't meet content moderation standards. If anything I think this is likely to antagonize Musk and force a confrontation. Will Elon call their bluffing?

Given that Elon Musk just actively spread transphobic propaganda to millions of people, I think the chance of this happening is significantly higher than 3%. At the very least, the chance of the EU threatening to ban Twitter in the EU has probably increased significantly (and for good reason).
