Xi removed him suddenly and replaced him with a totally inexperienced commander. Now may be a good time to remind everyone that the Chinese military is actually not run by the government, its loyalty is to the CCP, and it has internal factions that are loyal to different individuals in the party. This event makes me wonder what might have been the cause? Is it really corruption, or perhaps disloyalty to Xi? Maybe it was inspired by the Wagner rebellion?

This resolves YES if formal charges are announced against Xu Xisheng by the end of 2023.
