Clarification: This would apply to a general mask mandate like was commonly seen in 2020 and 2021 that applied to private businesses. Ones applying only to certain people such as government employees, in only specific government buildings or hospitals or just schools does not apply and will not resolve this YES.

Today is the last business day of the year. A few hospitals have issued mandates, and some counties have issued recommendations, but no municipality seems to have a mandate: https://www.newsweek.com/covid-19-mask-mandate-1856195 Looks like this market is headed for 0%
LA County might or might not reach the necessary threshold for a mandate:

I'm surprised this blew up and is so high for yes. But I put a clarification in the description.
A mandate that applies only to government buildings or employees is not a general mandate and does not apply. Neither does a mandate only in schools, and school districts are not municipalities.
For an example that would resolve this YES, see Philadelphia's very brief one from last year. Despite its rescinding in just four days it would qualify: https://whyy.org/articles/philadelphia-reinstates-indoor-mask-mandate/
@HenriThunberg Ummm who did the rating in that study? The Guardian article does not say; the study points out that the ratings were all done by college students.

Why does this matter? Political polarization affects how people feel about masks; I would expect it to affect these attractiveness ratings too. I wonder if study participants were more pro-mask than average?
"Finally, participants showed high levels of agreement with the statements “Face masks have become part of everyday life in the past year” (M = 4.62, SD = 0.94) and “The use of face masks is effective in preventing the spread of COVID-19” (M = 4.26, SD = 0.89)."
Yes. On a scale of 1-5, I'd call this particular experimental group very pro-mask. I do not think these results mean what you think they mean.
Dayton, OH has instituted a mask requirement of city employees on duty indoors: https://www.daytondailynews.com/local/mask-mandates-are-back-at-dayton-metroparks-public-health/GVPWSTDG5ZB7DJUUWMNVYUNHRY/
Oakland, CA has reinstated a mask mandate for government buildings as of Dec 20, 2022: https://www.sfchronicle.com/eastbay/article/Oakland-reinstates-mask-mandate-in-government-17668056.php
Several school districts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey seem to have implemented mask mandates due to rising flu, Covid, and RSV cases. Specifically Philadelphia, Camden, NJ, and Paterson, NJ. https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2023/jan/3/students-philly-nj-resume-classes-under-covid-19-m/
@IsaacKing then it's not being implemented, it already exists and can only be implemented again if repealed.
@brp yes that would. Basically any type of mandate that would've been impossible to see in 2019 or earlier.
