Seeing the recent crash, I'm looking to put about $20k into crypto. What should I buy? I'll commit to putting in at least $10k into one of the top 3 choices. Market closes in a week, but resolves to the single crypto token with the highest % increase between today and the end of the year.

Sort by:

Solana: 58.80 to 13.30

SHDW: 1.08 to 0.08

BTC: 31,304 to 16,684

DOGE: 0.09 to 0.07

ETH: 2,145 to 1,214

PAXG: 1,811 to 1,841

DESO: 14.41 to 6.54

USDT: 1 to 1

PAXG narrowly beats out USDT for the winner. Great year for my crypto investments!

I make it $0.000413 at the start of market time. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/terra-luna/. It is now the penny stock of 2022!
I actually tried on two occasions to onramp into FTX, and the money wouldn't go through (something on plaid's end imo) Somewhat ironic since a huge chunk (7.5%) of Manifold belongs to FTX

@Austin Lucky You! I still don't understand why you wanted to buy crypto tokens, but it seems like you dodged a bullet there?

@ZhaoNan Haha I did end up transferring some amount of money (~$5k?) into FTX.us, whoops

As the number of alternatives in this market increases, I think the math is that you have to bet on higher risk-reward things in order to have best odds of getting the highest increase coin. But maybe that becomes not so true given the fact that they are all correlated in various ways.
For Solana, you will pay less in fees if you do the following: - Onramp into FTX - Withdraw USDC from FTX into a Solana wallet - Trade in defi (using jup.ag) This could be a savings of... like 200 dollars? over normie coinbase, and idk 20 over coinbase pro or just using ftx normally. And you will get to experience defi!
FWIW, I may only entertain suggestions that are purchasable through Coinbase
