This market resolves to the average price per kilogram of room-temperature and pressure superconductor in the year 2033. For the purposes of this market, a room-temperature superconductor is defined as a material which displays superconducting properties at a temperature of 293.15 Kelvin (20 degrees Celsius) or higher, and a pressure of 1 atmosphere (101.325 kPa).
The superconductor must have a transition temperature (Tc) at or above the stated temperature under the given pressure conditions to qualify. The price will be considered at industrial volumes, assuming reliable and commoditized pricing mechanisms.
If the superconductor's price fluctuates significantly during the year, the average price over the course of the entire year will be used. This market will resolve based on the average annual price of 1kg of superconductor fulfilling these conditions, as reported by a reputable industry source or sources.
If no such superconductor is on the market, or it is so scarce that the cost is clearly above the maximum, this market will resolve to the maximum.
Edit; The price is in 2033 US dollars.
