Many have speculated whether President Trump can legally pardon himself of his alleged US Federal crimes, and whether he will choose to do so. Should Trump desire a pardon and be unable to issue one to himself, however, there is another option: Trump's vice president JD Vance could issue the pardon, either while serving as acting president during an invocation of the 25th amendment, or while serving as president should Trump resign, be removed from office, or die in office (this last case requiring a posthumous pardon).
This market resolves YES if JD Vance, or anyone who succeeds JD Vance as Vice President under President Donald Trump, issues a presidential pardon for Donald Trump before noon on January 20th, 2029, and NO otherwise. This need not be explicitly planned by Trump - a similar situation to Ford's pardon of Nixon would still trigger a positive resolution.
