Each option will resolve to "YES" if the next pope's papal name includes the corresponding Roman numeral. For example:

  • If the next pope chooses the name "Leo XIV", the options "I", "V", and "X" will all resolve to "YES".

  • If the next pope selects a completely new name without a numeral, all options will resolve to "NO", as the numeral "I" would only be added retroactively.
