This market will resolve YES if a 51st state is officially admitted to the Union before December 31, 2028, 11:59 PM ET. This requires:
Passage of an admission act by Congress
Presidential signature (or congressional override of a veto)
Completion of any conditions set forth in the admission act
Official proclamation of statehood
The market will resolve NO if no new state is admitted by the deadline.
