unsure if @SG would open source acc specifically, but I think we should open-source a bot that uses firestore. In the long run, we should make a real websocket API but it's not like we're going to build that anytime soon, so in the meantime it's better to encourage everyone to use firestore. (caveat: we're eventually gonna migrate off firebase and pull support for this)
