Reports have claimed that Donald Trump is privately encouraging Republican candidates to support abortion bans that would outlaw abortions after 15 or 16 weeks. Trump has publicly stated to Sean Hannity that he is discussing and thinking about this type of ban.
This market will only look at a national ban. Trump expressing support for a particular state’s ban will not cause the market to resolve. Only the cutoff week of the ban will count; any proposed exceptions to the ban will not affect the result of the market.
I will not bet on this market.
