The last one to legalize it was Ohio, which went into effect on December 7 2023, several days before this market was created.

Does the legalisation have to go into effect in 2024, or is it enough for a suitable law to be passed in 2024? And what if legalisation is overturned by a court (this happened in South Dakota a few years ago)?
