Resolves YES if Biden issues at least one pardon only for crime(s) for which the individual was not yet charged or convicted, before the end of Biden’s term.

  • Update 2025-14-01 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): - YES requires Biden to issue a pardon only for crimes for which the individual has not been charged.

    • A pardon that includes both uncharged and charged crimes does not count towards a YES resolution.

    • For example, a pardon that preempts possible future charges for individuals like Fauci, Cheney, or Schiff would count, but pardons that also include current convictions (e.g., Hunter’s pardon) do not count.

@traders have clarified resolution criteria

How does it resolve if the pardon covers both crimes that they have already been charged with AND hypothetical crimes they haven't been charged with?

(IIUC, that was covered by Hunter's pardon, so I'm assuming that doesn't count, but not sure how this works)

@Ziddletwix Yeah was struggling to think of phrasing that precludes Hunter’s pardon.

For this market, YES should require a pardon only for crimes for which the individual has not been charged, not a pardon both for crimes for which the individual has been charged and not yet charged.

In other words, a pardon of Fauci/Cheney/Schiff/etc that preempts possible future charges would count, but not if the pardon is also for current convictions. Hunter’s pardon does not count towards a yes resolution.
