Does the count start when the question was posed or when Nick was arrested?

Pretty sure the two days of time served were before the question was asked.

A 30-day sentence was given for charges related to firearms, drug possession, child endangerment, and providing cocaine to minors

I inadvertently made an incorrect statement. He did not provide cocaine to his 9-year-old daughter; she did test positive for the substance

bought Ṁ500 YES
bought Ṁ300 YES

@AdaurySantos wow. will wait until it starts

bought Ṁ50 NO

@AdaurySantos There is also some amount of uncertainty about the 'may be deferred of complaint with probation' clause, some are suggesting that means if Nick manages to comply with his probation he'll avoid the jail time (IANAL so have no idea if that's a valid reading).

Edit - Nick stated that if he complies with his probation terms between now and August, he doesn't have to do the 30 days. Quite possibly a big if, but we'll see...

Edit Edit - There was a typo on the charging sheet, apparently it should have read 'may be deferred if compliant with probation' adding credence to Nick's claims.

In case anyone still cares, he has made a plea deal, pleading guilty to third degree drug possession while having all the other charges on him, his wife and April Imholte dropped. The deal also includes the possibility of the entire case being dropped if he keeps out of trouble. The hearing will be in April. https://www.fox9.com/news/youtube-attorney-nick-rekieta-pleads-guilty-drug-case.amp

Absolutely wild that the case could be dropped, considering they found 10x the criminal threshold of cocaine traces from one of his kids' hair follicles, but what do I know. For now it seems unlikely he will spend any time in jail.

There will be an evidentiary hearing and possibly some additional legal motions, all scheduled to be completed by September 5th at the latest

August 21st at 10:30 a.m. is the long-awaited omnibus hearing* in Kandiyohi County District Court. Based on the documents submitted by Rekieta’s attorney, it appears he is determined to fight the case. Let’s see what happens.

*An omnibus hearing is a pretrial meeting where lawyers discuss legal motions, evidence, and other important details before the actual trial starts.

his 9yo daughter tested positive for cocaine

Further, his nine-year-old daughter has allegedly tested positive for high levels of unlawful substances, and his children are now under the care of Kandiyohi County Health and Human Services (KCHHS).

These charges have reportedly been found in a leaked court document, with it allegedly stating that the illegal substance was found at a level of "5000 with a cutoff of 500". The leaked document as well as the allegations was acknowledged by Nick Rekieta in a stream on YouTube on June 19, 2024

US lawyer Nick Rekieta is facing 25 years in prison after being arrested on Thursday alongside his wife Kayla and another fellow internet personality.

Prosecutors filed charges against the Minnesota couple on Friday for second-degree drug possession, child endangerment and a gross misdemeanour firearm charge.

According to arrest documents, police reportedly attempted to execute a search warrant on May 23 at Rekieta’s home and was greeted by a little girl at the front door who would not let them inside.

After Rekieta refused to provide the door code, police used a battering ram to gain access and found the couple and four juveniles inside.

After searching the master bedroom and bathroom, authorities allegedly found a variety of drug paraphernalia, including three small bags that tested positive for cocaine, eight green tablets that tested positive for ketamine, a digital scale, and several other items that tested positive for cocaine.

Police also found a gun with several magazines and loose ammunition underneath the bed, a spent shell casing on the bedroom floor, and located additional firearms and ammunition in the garage.
