What’s up with these will X happen by Y? Questions where X and Y are absurdly irrelevant topics? Is this just a way to drive engagement? Seems like framing questions this way are just attempts to poison analysis and drive engagement.

The wise thing to do would be to hold off on announcing as long as possible to give less time for a narrative to take hold, keep the attacks focused on Trump, and have a headline grabbing card to play during a bad news cycle. So of course Trump will announce them right away.
