Both of them will be high school seniors in the 2025-2026 school year. They both do similar extracurricular activities, and will engage with each other frequently in the aforementioned extracurricular activities throughout the year. They are both somewhat friends currently.

Resolution criteria

This market will resolve to "Yes" if, by July 31, 2026, I confirm that my best friend and his crush are in a romantic relationship. The confirmation can be based on direct communication from either party or observable evidence of their relationship status. If no such confirmation is available by the specified date, the market will resolve to "No."
