Epic has already sued both Apple & Google to varying results so far in relation to the manners in which they run their respective app stores.
Epic has been on a multi-year battle with the Epic Game Store in directly competing against Steam by offering a 12% cut as opposed to the sliding scale starting at 30% offered by Valve/Steam and Tim Sweeney has been very critical of the cut Valve takes. They have also spent hundreds of millions on timed exclusives.
So far this has been generally unsuccessful in pulling any significant market share from Valve/Steam.
Success of YES means that Epic Games has filed an US jurisdiction lawsuit against Valve Corporation or any subsidiary within, by the end of the year 2024 (it does not have to go to court or finish, just be filed by the end of the year); in regards to the Steam distribution platform.
First time doing question, apologies for any errors.
