I'm trying to gauge risks in markets that could be gamed using alt accounts e.g. /singer/will-10-people-in-the-comments-repo

Update:

I don't consider bot accounts to be alt account, unless you also use them manually to make trades.

It’s weird that I’m guessing on behalf of the whole community. Maybe you’d get better data asking if you (the respondant) have an alt (I have a bot, so maybe?)

I'm assuming that the people who use alt accounts surreptitiously won't want to admit it openly. I wouldn't consider a bot an alt account, unless you are using it for making trades of your own.

(If it seems like my expectations are strange they probably are since I'm a newbie and don't know much about how alt accounts are used here.)

@singer ah yea. Polls are fairly public, so people would be copping to using an alt in a public way - which someone people openly admit to! There’s a few IsaacKings, Mira has ChatGPT, FirstUserHere and LastUserHere….etc.

I honestly have no clue how to answer your poll though haha. I don’t have any clue here
