@Ziddletwix i think this should wait until the next manifest actually happens — there’s some tiny likelihood of manifest 2024 held in berkeley getting cancelled or something (H5N1? fires? earthquake?).
This would be cool! There are many big communities in NYC that overlap with people interested in forecasting. No equivalent to Lighthaven, though. Although I do not know if a presumably favorable rate given by Lightcone on renting out the space is more or less than what a space that would fit a similar amount of people would cost in NYC.
