@DottedCalculator My sleep schedule is usually better than the minimum standards outlined in this market. I agree that Calvin would benefit a lot from this, given that he fell asleep in class yesterday.
@rewind Not necessarily. If Calvin learns from textbooks much faster than from lecture or rec then he is well justified to sleep during class time. Of course, I am assuming he sleeps early and during class.
It is well known that sleep is very positively correlated with performance on most mentally intensive activities, including math olympiads and Japanese poker.
