This market is about whether I will only take cold showers at home for one year, from 7 September 2024 until 7 September 2025. It serves as a commitment device to help me save energy and benefit from the antidepressant effects of cold showers.
Rules:
Only showers taken at home count toward this market. I may take hot showers at the gym or elsewhere without breaking the streak.
Streak forgiveness: I may take a total of 12 warm showers at home, during this timeframe, to allow some flexibility for when I'm sick.
Additional Notes:
My last cold shower market, with a different ruleset, failed after 212 days.
I will not bet on this market.
