I currently have an iPhone 11 that was my cousin's old phone. I'll probably upgrade within the next 18 months.

I stopped in a Verizon store to try it, and it was pretty awesome. My main reservation is that many apps are not built for it yet.

My T-Mobile plan values my iPhone at around $350, plus I get a 20% friends and family discount on all Apple products. So the phone would cost around $1320 plus tax.
