"It is typical for Apple to hold up to four events per year: one in the spring, WWDC in June, the fall iPhone event, and a fourth fall event that's Mac and/or iPad focused." - MacRumors
They have held an event in October or later in 8 out of 12 years since Tim Cook took over. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Apple_Inc._media_events
Just a press release doesn't count, but if they announce a video ahead of time and play it live (even if there are no in-person participants), I will resolve this as YES.

Based on historical data and Apple's past event scheduling, it appears unlikely that there will be another Apple event in 2023 after the September conference. From 2011 to 2022, the only year with two events following the September conference was 2020. In all other years, there was typically just one event, and in the cases of 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022, there were no additional events after September.
Apple tends to inform the public about its events at least two weeks in advance, and most of their events have historically been held in October. With no information about any other event scheduled apart from a press conference on October 30, it's unlikely that we'll see another Apple event in 2023.

Despite what Gurman said, Apple usually gives at least two weeks' notice for events, so an October event is now highly doubtful. If Apple hosts an event in November instead, it might take place on November 7 or November 14. If that's the case, you can anticipate receiving invitations to the event by the end of October. Apple is expected to make a press statement announcing the news, most likely on October 31, as Gurman indicates.

Gurman is decently well connected, and late-2023 makes sense. They haven't missed a 4th event for a while.
@TimothyBandors Some guess that there will be no event in October because Apple rather invests into Vision Pro for February.
