If we can get like 10ish good ones I will make a poll and blast it in the faces of the team that runs the site in hopes of catching their attention.
Any feature you wish Manifold had that they don't?
@traders here's a poll related to the responses here:

A 'custom' sort for answers in MC markets
Currently we have high %, low %, oldest, newest, trending, and A-Z as options; but I frequently find the order I intended for my MC market doesn't line up with any of those, and I'm left trying to use workarounds to have it sort the way I wanted it
'Oldest' works well until you add new answers that you want to slot in between older answers
High/low % often works because that often reflects the intended sort, but all it takes is one person making an odd bet or two and the answers can get jumbled, and there are also times where it simply doesn't reflect the intended sort
And A-Z works but often requires rewording answers in a more confusing way and/or adding verbosity
So simply being able to drag answers into the correct order would make creating and maintaining MC markets much easier and nicer
Or if adding that kind of functionality wouldn't be a worthwhile use of dev resources: an easier implementation would be to make it so that you can hide text in an answer (maybe with a backslash or something?) so that you can write your answers to have a hidden numbering at the start and then use A-Z to sort it correctly (eg "\01 This answer is supposed to be sorted into position 1")
Limit orders which fill up gradually: e.g. you put 1000 YES at 5%, and each time the probability goes below 5%, M25 gets filled from the 1000. This solves a couple of issues:
1) avoiding the danger of your mana getting bulldozed by people responding to breaking news.
2) you can put large limit orders at different prices. E.g. you can put YES at 3%, 4%, and 5%. This way if someone bets it down to 2%, you get to buy YES shares at each price. Whereas normally you'd put a large order at 5%, and miss the potential of buying at a better price, or put it at 3%, and risk not having your order filled at all.
I guess you could do this with bots, but... it would be more convenient if it was just on the site.
@ItsMe a first responder to breaking news can bypass this by buying into the limit as much as they're able to, then selling a little and repeating
We have had a lot of suggestions so I will leave this a couple more days then follow up with another page condensing them!
Inflation adjusted profits. It's hard to know how well I'm doing when everybody's number goes up at the same time.
And unbanning all banned users and putting them in a Troublemakers league. Winner gets 1 million mana. Everyone else gets re-banned.
@ItsMe This is a terrible idea. Youβre just going to get bots shilling their gambling and real estate sites again.
@GleamingRhino Well, it was a joke. But we could just pick the famous banned users, like Mark Ingraham, Levi Finkelstein, BTE, firstuserhere, evan, etc.
A filter for markets that are near 50% -- right now there are only filters for high % and low %. Maybe have it include some kind of intelligent treatment of multi-choice markets etc
Market probability initialization in the UI (instead of just in the API) since it's better than the alternative of selfbetting immediately after creation and hoping that a bot didn't get there first
@Interrobang I'm leaving this off of the poll because Genzy is already working on it with a UI preview already available. I think that means it already has both blessing and backing so "our work here" won't make much of an impact.
Make a leaderboard of rankings for achievements, so that you can click on an achievement and it shows you the leaderboard for the achievement (i.e X is #1 in the donation achievement, and Y is #2 in the donation achievement). I think it would really be nice if we could see who had the most unique traders, or who donated most.
@GleamingRhino That would be nice....but they've been incredibly resistant to this for years, I think their login platform does support it now but it means work, and then also they have to have a real spam solution if they make account creation easier.
Mandatory resolution criteria.
Make "Description" a mandatory field to fill out when creating a market. Change the text to "Provide resolution criteria. Optional: add background infos and details."
@Eliza Time limiting could be a factor, allows you to use current tags as opposed to arbitrary new tags for markets when they would best fit somewhere else anyway, easier to see the leaderboard clearly with only those you care about.
If i made a curated tag and tried to use that tag's leaderboard, there'd be nothing to prevent non-league members from being on the leaderboard and murking up the positions etc.
UI for placing "limit sell" orders (the kind that can be placed manually today if you do the math and get the NO/YES shares to cancel out, not the "stop loss" kind)
