The new market creator is live at /create, give it a try and let us know what you think - especially if you don't usually create markets!
Start with just a title, and you can now easily switch between types and see how it impacts the final output. There's some other new suggestions that pop up as needed, for example: try manually typing "other" as a multichoice answer.
What's the point in making markets that an AI generates? Seems to defeat the whole dwindling purpose of "futarchy"
Seems to work fine. Thanks for the good work!
For a second I was excited to maybe for once resolve my /Primer/resolution-criteria-mandatory-for-y-ZPCzPER9yS differently than usually in the last second.
Well, maybe next time: /Primer/resolution-criteria-mandatory-for-y-IPlpggsEZ5
I used it to create https://manifold.markets/ovals/2026-kentucky-derby-starters?r=b3ZhbHM
I only created 3 answers and let AI choose the remaining choices. Logistical suggestions were made. I am happy with its level of training
@johnNZOy itβs gone for now, it took quite a while to load and didnβt fit into the new UI well
Similarly to how you can now put the title, generate the answers, generate description.. it could work to have a button to autocomplete the entire market, including choosing the type, after only writing a title.
Did you use it often?
@johnNZOy Can you share a little more about your usage flow with it? What did your inputs look like? What would happen that would precede you going to open it?
like, did you do it because you needed ideas to claim the quest? Was it after reading something in the news? etc.. and then what was the input/prompt
I hope to find a way to reintroduce it or otherwise accommodate those who used it. Thanks!
@Gen Usually my inputs looked something like "IMO" or other simple one word phrases. I did it mainly because I wanted to make a good market, so I found things that people were searching up, and then I would enter things like "IMO" or "SC politics".
feedback: the emoji icon in the top-right is a little misleading since it shows a date but not the right one. I know you have a dateless calendar icon already! (bc it's in the picker widget)
