I think a significant amount of my profit is from trading against AMM liquidity that I provided myself. I think it would be nice if we could see (separately):
the profit from trading only against someone else's AMM liquidity (plus all trading against other users via limit orders)
the profit from trading only against another user's limit orders (as a taker)
the profit from placing my own limit orders (as a maker)
the profit from all fills where one side or the other was a limit order (taker+maker)
Feels like it would be very useful.
While you're at it -- net worth should always include my AMM liquidity stake. It's basically ridiculous that it doesn't. It completely falsifies the entire user portfolio history graph because it buries mega huge percentages of peoples net worth in an invisible category even though they still have full control over that mana.
I'd like to see something similar to what's used in accounting. I'd like to select a time period (days, weeks, months, years, etc.), and see a breakdown per period of income, expenses, assets, liabilities.
Quick rough example (made up numbers):
* Income from profit: 100
Income from mana purchase: 200
[Total: 300]
Expenses from loss: 50
Expenses from loan interest: 10
[Total: 60]
Assets mana balance: +300
Assets invested: +40
[Total: +340]
Liabilities from loan: 100
[Total: 100]
Your categories could fit under the income/profit section.
@Eliza with you being the MC Liquidity Czar of Manifold (an official title btw) can we please also be able to withdraw our liquidity fromMC markets……..hopefully…….
@JeromeHPowell you should put that in your description in your bio “Official MC Liquidity Czar of Manifold Markets”
@MRME Or a way to exclude a particular market. Say I want a graph to show profit based on trades made in the last month (like how leagues calculate profit)
